Easter Wings

Lord, who createdst man in wealth and store,
Though foolishly he lost the same,
Decaying more and more,
Till he became

O let me rise
As larks, harmoniously,

Resurrection Morn

Upon the quiet dawn, the stone rolled away,
Glorious light of Resurrection day.
Christ arisen, in splendor he stands,
Victorious life in his holy hands.

Gardens bloom at the touch of His grace,
Each flower awakened to see His face.
Believers gather with joyous hearts,
In the miracle of Easter, new life starts.

You may have hoped not to be born;
I lift my soul up to the sky,
And touch at last the eternal morn.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord shows His might,
On Easter morn, in soft dawning light.
Death could not hold, the grave not contain,
The Savior of the world, Jesus is His name.

Angels declare, with trumpets and song,
He is alive, our King, strong and long.
Join all creation, in chorus so bold,
The story of redemption, eternally told.

Easter's Promise

Easter speaks of hope renewed,
A promise kept, a life construed.
From the tomb where once He lay,
The stone's cast off, He's risen today!

The cross now empty, a stark display,
Our sins forgiven, He's made a way.
He walks in gardens, among the blooms,
Overcoming the shadow, the tomb's dark glooms.
