The prison-house in which I live
Is falling to decay,
But God renews my spirit’s strength
Within these walls of clay.

For me a dimness slowly creeps
Around earth’s fairest light,
But heaven grows clearer to my view,
And fairer to my sight.

It may be earth’s sweet harmonies
Are duller to my ear,
But music from my Father’s house
Begins to float more near.

Then let the pillars of my home
Crumble and fall away;
Lo, God’s dear love within my soul
Renews it day by day.

His Light

In times of darkness, seek His light,
He'll lead you through the darkest night.
With faith and hope, just trust and see,
God’s loving arms will set you free.

His light will shine on every path,
Dispel the shadows, end the wrath.
With His love, your heart will gleam,
Awakened by His radiant beam.

God's Promise

God’s promises are sure and strong,
In His embrace, you belong.
Hold on to faith, don’t ever doubt,
His love will always find you out.

His word is true, His love unending,
With every breath, His grace descending.
In every moment, trust His way,
He’ll guide you through each passing day.

New Day

Each morning brings a brand new start,
With God’s love filling up your heart.
Rise and shine, with hope anew,
For God's mercies are always true.

In dawn’s first light, find strength to stand,
His guiding touch, His gentle hand.
With every step, embrace His grace,
And see His glory in every place.

His Grace is Sufficient

No trial is too great to bear,
When you remember God is there.
His grace is always more than enough,
In times of smooth or times of tough.

In moments frail, His strength will shine,
With every step, His love’s divine.
No mountain high, no valley low,
His grace will always overflow.

Trust in His Plan

When life feels tough and full of strife,
Trust in God, He'll guide your life.
His love is constant, His grace is true,
In every challenge, He walks with you.

His hand is steady, His path is clear,
With Him beside, there's naught to fear.
He knows your heart, your deepest need,
With faith in Him, you will succeed.
