Amazing Grace
by John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.
Rock of Ages
by Augustus Toplady
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pure.
Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law's demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
When I soar to worlds unknown,
See Thee on Thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
Walk in Faith
In the stillness of the night,
When stars above are shining bright,
I hear a voice, a gentle call,
"Trust in Me, and fear not at all."
Through every trial, every tear,
God's love surrounds me, ever near.
His grace abounds, a boundless sea,
Washing over, setting me free.
With every step on this narrow road,
He lightens my every load.
Though storms may rise and tempests roar,
In His strength, I’m secure evermore.
When doubts and fears begin to creep,
And the path ahead feels dark and steep,
I look to Him, my guiding light,
Who turns the darkness into sight.
His promises, my anchor strong,
In His embrace, I do belong.
The journey may be long and wide,
Yet with the Lord, I safely stride.
He leads me on with gentle care,
In every moment, He's always there.
With faith renewed and spirit high,
I walk with Him, my Lord and guide.
So let us sing with hearts aglow,
Of God’s great love that we all know.
In every trial, in every gain,
His grace is constant, His love the same.
With grateful hearts, we journey on,
Guided by faith, from dusk till dawn.

Grace Beyond Measure
In shadows deep, where fears reside,
God’s love is there, my constant guide.
Through valleys low and mountains high,
His grace is near, never to die.
Amazing grace, how sweet the call,
That lifts me up when I may fall.
When trials come and tempests rage,
I find my strength in every page
Of holy words, a beacon bright,
Guiding me through the darkest night.
In every tear and whispered prayer,
I find His peace, beyond compare.
The Rock of Ages, firm and sure,
A refuge strong, a love so pure.
Not by my deeds or labors done,
But by His grace, the victory won.
I cling to Him, my Savior dear,
In His embrace, I know no fear.
With courage strong and faith renewed,
I walk this path in gratitude.
No storm or foe can steal away
The light that shines, my hope and stay.
For in His arms, I am secure,
A pilgrim blessed, forever sure.
The Heavenly Footman
by John Bunyan
He who would valiant be ‘gainst all disaster,
Let him in constancy follow the Master.
There’s no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent to be a pilgrim.
Who so beset him round with dismal stories
Do but themselves confound—his strength the more is.
No foes shall stay his might, though he with giants fight;
He will make good his right to be a pilgrim.
Since, Lord, Thou dost defend us with Thy Spirit,
We know we at the end shall life inherit.
Then fancies flee away! I’ll fear not what men say,
I’ll labor night and day to be a pilgrim.
